Special Needs

To a large extent, our neighborhoods, churches and communities fail to weave the family of a person with special needs, let alone the individual themselves, into the fabric of our culture. As a writer, part of Amy’s calling is to bridge the gap between the social world of a “typical” child and that of an individual affected by disability. Amy’s hope is to provide resources for caring and interested friends as well as churches considering broadening their special needs outreach.

Amy has done a vast amount of research and writing on how churches can successfully include children with special needs.  Much of this information is available through The Inclusive Church Blog.
